What is available at present?:Of the three components of the Certifying exam, we are offering Elective modules on GI, GU, MSK, Neuro and Peds in 2015.The Essentials and Noninterpretive skills modules will most likley not be available in 2015, However, this may change. That is why we encourage everyone to be on the mailing list.
So what do you suggest for modules that are not yet available?: We believe that the material on our other website Face The Core should be useful for review. It has MCQ's, tests and videos. We have reduced the prices for Face the Core by 50%.
Is the material Face the Cert different from Face the Core?: Yes absolutely. Face the Cert and Face the Core materials are different.
So, once I subscribe, what do I do?: The susbcribed modules will be shown as light green tiles. When you click on Go to Module link on the tile, it will take you to the Module Gateway page where you will see the one or more tiles each with a title in that module. You will do each title as a random pretest. When you are finish it, you will be able to review your answers and access the learning points for each title.
When I do the test, how much time should I give to each question?: The questions are designed to be answered in less than one minute each. In our opinion spending more time than that does not have any added benefit. The whole idea is to find out what you know and what you don’t, as quickly as possible so that you can get on with the task of correcting your deficiencies.
Do I have to finish the entire test in one go?: No. If you do not have the time, you can stop at any time. When you go back to the test, it will start from where you left off.
Can I consult a book or Google stuff while answering the test MCQ?: You can do that if you wish to and that is your style of learning. However, in our opinion you would have wasted the money you paid for your enrollment or subscription, because you would have short-circuited the aim of the test - to know where you lack. Once you have finished the test, we encourage you to use additional materials to supplement your learning.
Why do you force us to complete the test before showing the answers?: One of the features of the Face the Core program that people have loved in the past is that it forces you to go through the questions and think independently. So we force you to finish the test so that you are in a much better position to recognize your deficiencies.
Are there any video discussions available for these MCQ?: There are no video discussions planned for 2015. If it changes, we will let you know. Video discussions are available for Face the Core and will probably be for Face the Cert in the future.

We have no access to 'recalls' and we do not and will never ask for or accept 'recalls'.
